The third collection in Italy
The Cagnola Collection has a remarkable collection of ceramics (majolica, porcelain, etc. ), which the Cagnolas, Carlo in particular, systematically collected, with an encyclopaedic taste.
It can be considered among the first collections in Italy for variety, completeness and quality of some items. There are majolicas from the most important Italian manufactures from 1500 to 1700, Italian and European porcelains (first of all Meissen and Doccia), rare oriental ceramics (including some extraordinary celadon).
